Symposium hosted by Vocera

Learn how Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital evaluated, funded and deployed the hands-free Vocera communication system to improve patient experience in PICU. Consultant Adrian Plunkett will discuss his approach to care team training and how adoption of the technology has helped save valuable time for clinicians and improved the speed of care team communication. Published success of hands-free communication in the PICU has inspired future plans for the Vocera system. An integration with patient monitors is expected to decrease alarm fatigue and reduce PICU ambient noise to industry advised standards. Don’t miss this session to find out more.
